Early Medical Abortions
under 10 weeks
An early medical abortion is a safe option to end a pregnancy if you are less than 10 weeks along. It is designed for you to complete your abortion and miscarry at home or in your chosen safe space.
Surgical Abortions
under 15 weeks
Although it is called a surgical abortion, it is a procedure rather than surgery. If you are less than 15 weeks along this is a safe and effective option to end a pregnancy.

Abortions are FREE for everyone eligible for funded healthcare in NZ. No GP referral required.
If you are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident or on an eligible visa/reciprocal agreement, you can access some of our services fully funded. You can also access our services privately.
An early medical abortion (abortion pill) is available via telehealth anywhere in New Zealand, we also offer in-clinic medical and surgical abortions in certain regions.
